The human behind the systems.
I'm Óscar Blázquez Santisteban — a visual designer, video editor and AI Creative Specialist based in Madrid. Founder & Creative Director at AGENCIA CREATIVA OBS, Senior Designer & AI Manager at babalúa, and freelance director for the music industry since 2022. I direct AI visual content with the same rigor as a traditional production — and I build the systems that make it scalable.
What I do
I direct, and I build.
I work on the intersection that almost no one occupies: total creative direction of AI-generated image and video, plus the technical infrastructure that produces it — pipelines, MCPs, APIs, custom Remotion compositions, role-based agency systems. One person collapsing what would otherwise be two separate hires.
How I think
Direction precedes the model.
If the model I use today disappeared tomorrow, the work would still ship. Concept, casting, light, raccord, editorial rhythm — these are decisions independent of the tool. The tool is chosen at the end, in service of the decision. That's the principle I run on, and it's the principle I encode into every system I build.
Where I'm going
Senior AI Creative — full-time or anchor freelance.
Looking for senior roles in AI-first studios, innovation labs of established agencies, or audiovisual production companies opening AI verticals. Available for anchor freelance contracts where I can lead AI integration from direction to system.
